jrkripto at BergX
A crypto news, analysis and education platform on a Next.js frontend and NestJS microservices, with an event-driven core.
Led technical decisions and architecture across the projects at BergX, and built the crypto news, analysis and education platform.
The frontend is Next.js over a NestJS microservice tier. The core is event-driven on Kafka, with Redis carrying the real-time fan-out and MySQL behind read replicas. Scaling was horizontal: load balancing in front, service replicas behind, and centralised logging on the ELK stack so a slow path could be found rather than guessed at.
